Philosophy
Our philosophy at St. Patrick School is based on the 'Philosophy of Total Catholic Education', a full explanation of which can be found on the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh web site.
The very Rev. David D. Brockman, STL, JCL, Pastor of St Patrick Church, summed it up quite neatly in his letter to the St. Patrick School community members on the occasion of the feast of Saint Patrick 2006...
"...Since 1937, our parish school has been a source of excellence in formation within the Fayetteville community. Many teachers who serve in the Cumberland County school system have remarked to me many times about what a pleasure it is to have students who have been part of the St. Patrick School community. But, for us, excellence is not limited to academics alone. Rather, formation at St. Patrick School always emphasizes the whole human person – body, mind, and spirit. This is how God has fashioned each of us and so to strive for excellence within these three aspects of human life is our focus and our goal with each student.”
