School Year

The Preschool Program will run from September 2, 2008 through May 29, 2009. The preschool will follow the school calendar for all other dates between these two.

Sessions and Hours

The 3 year old program (must be 3 years old by 8/31/08) will run Tuesdays & Thursdays. The 4 year old program (must by 4 years old by 8/31/08) will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The number of sessions offered (1 or 2) is contingent upon enrollment. If only one session opens up it will run from 9:00am to 12:00pm (Monday - Friday). If two sessions are open, the morning session will run from 8:00am to 11:00am and the afternoon session from 12:00pm to 3:00pm (Monday - Friday).

Pre-School Admissions Policy

St. Patrick's Preschool admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin. All children must have attained the appropriate age (3 or 4) by August 31st.

Class Size

There will be a maximum of 15 students per session. If a session has over 7 students, there will be a teacher and an assistant on duty.

Fees and Tuition

1. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 per child. This fee must accompany the registration application.
2. There is a supply fee of $125.00 per child. This fee is payable at the time of acceptance into the preschool program. Supply fee refunds will only be made if a family moves from the Fayetteville area prior to the first day of school.
3. Tuition Schedule: (Due no later than the first of each month, September through May.)

   3 year old program $140 per month x 9 months = $1,260.00
   4 year old program $200 per month x 9 months = $1,800.00

$25 late payment penalty.

1. If you have a child in the K-8th grade, the tuition for the preschool will be added into your Payment Plan 1, 2, or 3.
2. If you do not have a child in K-8th grade, payments will be made by using the ACH Debit method. The ACH application form should be completed and returned to Joanne Messer in the St Patrick Church office.
3. The $50 registration fee and the $125 supply fee can be paid by cash, check, or credit card in person at Joanne Messer's office at St. Patrick Church. Alternatively, payment can be made using paypal.

Tuition is based on the total number of sessions in the school year. This figure is divided into 9 equal installments for your convenience. Tuition is therefore not reduced for the months including Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break or other scheduled days off.

Registration

Registration begins March 3, 2008. Please present the following when applying:

1. Registration/application form (below)
2. $50.00 registration fee (non-refundable)
3. Copies of: Birth certificate, Baptismal certificate (if baptized), and Immunization record
4. Physical examination required by first day of school

Selection Process

Students are accepted according to the following procedure:
1.) siblings of St. Patrick's school students,
2.) children of St. Patrick's parishioners,
3.) children of other Catholic parishes, and
4.) children of other faiths.

For parishioners (category 2), priority is given to those who have been registered the longest.

There are two ways in which you can start the application process - either complete the secure online version of the application forms, or download and print them to be completed by hand and mailed. Whichever method you choose - the $50 registration fee must be received in order for your application to be accepted.
